Safety at Zovay
Trust and safety are part of how Zovay is built, not an afterthought.
Traveling with people you've met online only works if the community feels safe. Here's what Zovay actually does about it.
Selfie verification for every profile
Before a profile becomes active, Zovay compares a short live selfie video against the traveler's own cover photo to confirm the profile belongs to a real person who matches their photos. This is a selfie/liveness check performed by Zovay's own systems — it is not a government ID check, and it is not performed by Apple.
Photo and profile moderation
Uploaded photos are automatically screened for explicit or otherwise disallowed content before they can be published on a profile.
Reporting and blocking
Every traveler can report a profile or block another user directly. Reports are reviewed against Zovay's Community Guidelines.
Enforcement
Depending on what's found, Zovay can remove content, suspend an account, or permanently remove an account from the platform.
Your data, your control
You can delete your account and its data directly inside the Zovay app at any time — see Privacy Choices for exactly how.
